Schmooze Communications is owned and run by Tania Evans and Gerard Norsa who have collectively nearly 40 years experience in journalism, media sales, publishing, public relations and marketing.

Tania Evans - Director, Media and Marketing Services

Tania Evans has worked in ICT marketing and communications for over 20 years. Tania started Schmooze Communications after working full time for 14 years in media sales for the Australian operation of global ICT publishing company IDG Communications.

Tania now manages Schmooze Communications and handles the media services side of the business. Her extensive experience in the IT and publishing industries has helped her develop excellent knowledge of the different publications servicing the industry as well as close working relationships with senior journalists and writers.

Tania works closely with clients to help them establish communications strategies and then demonstrate how to co-ordinate and manage relationships with appropriate journalists and media outlets. Tania offers a broad range of marketing and media engagement skills based on old-fashioned values such as integrity, honesty and good communications.

Gerard Norsa - Director, Editorial Services:

Gerard Norsa has been working as a journalist and writer since 1989. After spending eight years as a motoring writer, Gerard progressed to the IT industry in 1997.

Gerard is an award-winning former editor of the market-leading IT industry weekly, Australian Reseller News (ARN) who became a partner in Schmooze Communications in 2003.

Gerard now specialises in custom publishing, corporate writing and media communications strategies for clients in the IT, telecommunications and consumer electronics industries. He is a messaging expert who offers a broad range of writing services such as press releases, custom newsletters, case studies, white papers, corporate profiles, marketing material and Website content.

Extensive past experience as a working journalist helps Gerard to work collaboratively with organisations to develop and execute productive media engagement strategies and engineer consistent marketing messages.
